    help w/gnot regarding avisynth

    when i do a compressibility check i get an avisynth open failure.
    i have searched around and found a gnot update for avisyth 2.0 with plugins. i installed that as well and get a log file not found.
    i decided to try encoding the first time i got the avisyth error message and there was no avi file at the end. afterwards i checked the program paths out and could not find any sort of avisynth program only dlls. could this be the problem or is avisynth just a bund of dlls.

    Hello KDog,

    Question: Did you install avisynth with the gordianknot rippack or did you install it stand alone????

      Type

      Version()

      into notepad and save with a *.avs extension.
      Open in media player and post what you see.

          V 10 - i believe i installed it with the rippack. however i don't see any files named avisynth except for the dlls. after installing the update for avisynth the was also only dlls. to my understanding these are just the plugins...if so i guess that could mean that there wasn't an avisynth prog. to upgrade. thoughts???
