    Help!!!(Again)

What have I done? Recently I was using DVX and decided to check if there were any updates. Clicked on what I beleived were the appropriate buttons and downloaded updates. A few days later I started to copy a DVD and the first thing I notice is that BeSweet seems to default to like the Directors comments even though I clicked on the right dialogue for the movie. After trying a few times I managed to change this in the dialogue box and eventually the encoding started. The process continued as usual for some 4-5 hours, when this was finished NO VIDEO FILE WAS CREATED?????? I pretty much follow the tutorial to the letter, and my previous projects have been successful. I have tried uninstalling everything and then installed it all again to still have the same problem. What am I missing here?

I was actually slightly incorrect with my previous post. A video file of about 100mb was created which I am unable to open. The comp test file works fine, and the audio file(MP3) for the movie was also created in the process.

            try to reinstalll dvx.

            it seems
            that some path specifications have
been lost so that dvx is not able to comply to your preselects anymore!!!

If this does not work I also recommend using :

            pinnacle systems instant copy
            for full dvd rips

            G data´s daviDeo 3
            for partial rips

note that you have to decrypt the dvd and rip it to hard disk if it is protected

as freeware tool I recommend dvdshrink

dvd shrink is only second to one:
            instant copy !!!

though it is faster instant copy provides an installed burning routine
and after analysis with mjpeg codec
            the picture quality is great!!

re-installing the codec or using xvid for a change might be a good idea, too
