    Help With Virtualdub !!!!!

How can i remove (crop) black bars from top and bottom of the movie using virtualdub, null transform filter and DIRECT STREAM COPY. I don't wont to less the quality of the movie by recompressing it again in the FULL PROCESSING MODE.

Is there someother way to do that? If there is can U tell it to me "step by step" how to do it?

    Thank u.

"using virtualdub, null transform filter and DIRECT STREAM COPY"

You cannot access the video filters in the "Direct Stream Copy" mode...

No there isn't. If you want to remove the black bars, it implies altering every frame, so you have to re-encode it.
You can minimise quality loss by encoding at (approximately) the same bitrate as the original video stream.

If you cut off the black bars and want to get the best encoding quality, you should cut off a multiple of 8 lines (or maybe 16 depending on the codec) at the top and bottom. Same procedure works for the bars at the left and right. Use the same codec to reencode the video. Bitrate should not be higher than the original, because there is less information in the video and so a higher bitrate wouldn't increase the quality a lot.
