"I was wondering if I could convert my .tar to mpg"

You first have to uncompress a ".tar" file to obtain its contents - which could be ANY type of data. Once you've done this, then you can post a meaningful question based upon the type of file(s) contained in your .tar-compressed file...

Congratulations on resolving the remaining steps - AFTER I told you, "You first have to uncompress a ".tar" file to obtain its contents".

(So you didn't really quite "figure it out on your own" after all ;>})

it seems that you have not dealt with many downloads so far ... cheater.

                my suggestion is ...
to have winrar installed as well as daemon tools 333 (that can handle more than isobuster). as well as Gspot and the videolan client,!!!

if you just simply read the stickies on p2p forum as well as the
stickies on no sound and picture you would not have even posted your strange thread!! they are not just there because it looks so fine to have stickies!! so be a little more polite on judging this forum...
