Backed up my DVD, now what?

Hi guys, i just backed up a DVD on my hard drive and it works great. The file is pretty large though. How do i put that file back onto a 650mb/700mb cd rom? Having 2 copies is a must. One for the home and one for the car!...Do i need any special software?..thanks for your help!
