converting into dvd?

hi
im just starting converting my avi into svcd afterwards i will merge the two seperate parts together to make a dvd.
if im useing dvd2svcd what settings shall i use?
coz when im looking at what the settings asking what im putting in it only say's AVI,DVD,or DVB?

or am i better off useing svcd2dvd?

WAK: I was looking at your first thread. Did you ever pick up TPMGenc? It's an excellent tool for converting AVI files to SVCD OR DVD. It has a wizard that'll take all the thinking out of the process.

yeah i did thanks and it worked brilliantly.
thats what i used to convert two avi files into svcd,then merge them,and then turn them back to avi as a whole file to convert to dvd.
its because the avi files we,re two different structures.
itried useing svcd2dvd but because it couldnt find no bin file it wouldnt convert it.

Sounds a tad convoluted...why not just convert the AVI's to DVD and merge the two DVD files into one...if the goal is to make a DVD?
