NTSC to PAL

Hello everybody

since we married in Las Vegas we got some NTSC Tapes from the Chapel. I bought Pinnacle moviebox with pinnacle 8.6. I also chose NTSC in the menu. The sound is perfect, the picture clear, BUT Black and White. Eventually i would like to make a DVD from it....

Does anybody have an Idea what could be?

do the movies already reside on your harddisk or are you looking
at a livescreen caprure from your VCR ?. when the picture is clear
but in black and white it may be that you have chosen the wrong
ntsc format since ther are two NtSC J and ntsc M.......
it may also be that your Vcr does the NTSC pal conversion already
in this case choose Pal

it's from our VCR

I don't have that choice, pinnacle only offers NTSC.....standart format seemingly...

nope, that doesn't work. it's definitely not pal.
