    real media conversion

Do I need the Real Player or any of its codecs installed in order to convert .rm files into another format with EO Video?
The problem is I have a few .rm files that I can't run and my system doens't even recognize the file type as media file.
    Thanks in advance.

Why don't you simply try to use EO to perform the conversion - and find out for yourself?

I'm not installing it only to find out the program is useless. That's why I'm asking.

Then, by now, you have discovered neither EO or the freeware TINRA will recognize .rm files as legitimate media until Real Player is installed.

Then I have no reason to convert any of the rm files if Real player has been installed. Thanks for the reply.
