converting d2v files to divx

What is the best programme to convert d2v files to divx.

VFAPI to convert it in a file that can be read by most avi-editors. Than load that resulting file in nandub. It's not much faster or slower than other programs, but it gives the best quality. Ther is a big number of filters for VirtualDUB that can be also used in nandub. The filters are really helpfull for deinterlacing, adding/removing logos, enhancing the picture-quality of old movies...
