How do I add a permanent title?

Hi! I'm a newbie in encoding videos and I wanna know how I can add a title that would stay for the duration of the entire video? To make myself clear, when I download videos from Kazaa, the name of the encoder is plastered on the side like a subtitle. How do I do this?

I've tried making a subtitle but it's not working for me even if I've followed the how-to guide on adding permanent subtitle. Please help me. Thanks!

are those AVI files? if you have divx codec than it has an option of showing that logo or not

you can add a logo of your own to your movies
using virtual dub and donald grafts logo filter.....

you can create subtitles for example with "SUBCREATOR"
and then use the subtitle filters for virtual dub to
include them permanently to your movie.....

by the way a logo that is displayed throughout a 90 minutes movie is a very nerving thing!!
