    Talking about pictures a watermark is a copyright information that is invisible hidden in the picture and can not be removed easylie.

    In the video-context watermark means a (small) transparent logo that is layed over the video like the logo of many TV-channels.

      thanks 4 reply , is it possible 2 put my own watermarkon the film like svcd ( syd,s vcd ) is it hard and can it be done free ?

        You have to reencode the whole film to insert the watermark. For a SVCD you need to learn all about VirtualDUB, VD's filters, VD's frameserver and TMPGEnc.

        If you really want to place a logo in the film please put it only in the intro and the end credits. Logos in the whole movie are really disturbing.
