    Using Radium MP3 codec

    I'm having trouble using the MP3 codec in FlaskMPEG. It's driving me mental - I've used it many times, but am now installing it on a new computer and can't get it to work.

    Here's the problem:
    I can't use any bitrate that the Radium codec supplies - ie. try using 56 kbps that's there without the codec and it works, but if I try using 128 kbps that the codec supplies - encoding fails. I've tried reinstalling, etc.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

    In your Control Panel, select "Multimedia" and deactivate all .MP3 codecs EXCEPT the one that includes the word "Professional"

    Reboot your system

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      I had to go about it a little differently - but you definitely got me on the right track!

      Had to go:
      Control panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> 'Hardware' tab -> click on 'Audio Codecs' -> click on 'Properties' -> click on 'Properties' tab -> then check the properties of the MP3 codecs and disable the ones that aren't professional (there was only one that wasn't)

      Thanks again!
