    mpeg2 codec error

    I cannot use progDVB (or any other ddshow player) with the mpeg2 codec of my choice (->NVDVD)

    I installed NVDVD and verified that its codecs are registered using DXMAN.

    In progdvb I am using a nvidia filter graph but as soon as the graf comes to connecting the video render I get a "Pin Not connected" error.
    In grafEdit I cannot open the graf -> class unknown or so.

    Any idea what I am doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Dominik

    Sounds like your trying to use a locked codec - that's been intentionally limited to playback only...

        "it worked before formatting pc"

        Nice of you to now mention this ;>}

        Try reinstalling DirectX...

          Im no total retard BTW. What does this weird-looking emot mean?

          I tried... twice.

          1. Dx8 to 9
          then 9 to 9b
