mpg to DVD

    mpg to DVD

    Hi:

    I have download some movies in mpg files and I want to convert in DVD files.
    I do this with avi files trough IfoEdit.
    Can you says me which is the best method to convert the mpg files?

    It depends on what you mean by "best"...

    The highest quality, the fastest, the easiest way...

    But your mpegs may already be DVD-compliant (VCD MPEG1 for example) and won't need to be converted to MPEG2 format.

      When I say "best" I am refering to the final quality of the movie and I suppose if I pass to DVD I will obtain that one.

        ur wrong here dude.......

        if u got a mpeg1(vcd complient) file and u change to dvd complient mpeg2 u wont get any better quality then the orignal.
        same goes for dvd complient yet low bitrate files to high quality dvd complient files.
        Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!
