help me please soo many problems

i screwed up real bad.

i got so many codecs on my computer and most of them are only 1/2 there so i cant delete them. Now, i download codec sniper but there is an error that comes with it. when ever i try to run it something pops up , i press ok but then there is nothing in the program just delete, save, etc.
so are there any other programs that let you get rid of codecs becuase i ened to get rid i got like 50. also i downlodaed codec sniper using many diferent links, so i tihnk its my computer not the program.

You can always "restore" to a time before you installed that codec pack.

nope that didnt work i already tried...anyone got any suggestions that dont involve re installing windows. also, how do i boot up in safe mode with XP.

before your computer boots to the windows screen, press F8

I had about the same problem ....so many codecs and nothing worked properly .

Downloaded the codec-pack and used the feature to remove all codecs befoer adding the new ones in the pack !
Speeded things up considerably and my puter was up-to-date !

Keep youre pc clean!! claen op your disk by reinstalling youre windows once in a wile. Your System will be more stabel. Make two partitions on youre hard disk so you not have to reinstall everything. it works great for me.
