use Tmpgenc's tool, multiplex set file type mpeg2 vbr
load ur m2v and wav file and press run, ull get a mpeg file in result. use nero now to make dvd.

or u may try tmpgenc dvd auther to make menus and chapters if u like with the mpeg2 u got and make dvd folder that u can burn using nero.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

Unless you Author it and get the IFO, BUP, and VOB files Nero won't make a real video DVD. It'll make an Image, or data file...but they can only be viewed on your PC. You NEED TMPGenc DVD Author to create the IFO, BUP and VOB's ( and if you are Win2k or XP DVD Author will burn...so you won't need Nero.)

of course Nero makes true dvd from m2v + wav files (version 6),
editing & transcoding`em, then burning`em to disk. Did you really try????
