    .mpeg files shifting in length

I am going crazy over this. It all started with that some of my .mpeg movies got there time limit wrong, for example I had an .mpeg movie that was over 60 minuets long and now it only showed that the movie was 1 minute long in Windows Media player 9 Series. And I started getting error message from the Windows Media player 9.

So I reinstalled Windows 2000 and all the .mepg files that was 1 minutes long became there real size again, but I waited with installing Windows Media player 9 Series and used the old Media Player. And to day I installed the Windows Media player 9 Series again and what happens... all the .mpeg file became 1 minute long again

If someone could help me I would be very great full.

    THIS MASSAGE IN SHORT:
After installing Windows Media player 9 Series some of my .mpeg files became 1 minute long in the player that used to be over one hour, how do I fix this ?

If someone could help me I would be very great full.

hmm, a quick fix might be to use WinDVD or PowerDVD instead.
Had you tried the latest WMP download?
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!
