    VirtualDub 1.4.8

    I need some help.

    I downloaded VirtualDub software from this site so that I could split my DVD Rips into 2 parts (DVD Rips I downloaded).

    My hard drive is so dang full because the files are too large to fit on a CD-RW

    With VirtualDub I am able to get the files into two equal parts, thats not the problem, but when I follow the steps on this site to set the audio it just wont do it. I see the video before the sound!!!

    I followed the steps here: http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/cutavi.html EXCATLY several times. I've been trying to pull this off for hours now. PLEASE HELP !!!!

    File Data:

    Movie: OsmosisJones.Avi

    Part 1

    A = 23.976
    B = 23.986
    C = .01
    T = 47:19.731

    Converted 47:19.731 into 2839.731 Seconds

    C * T / A * 1000 = 1184 ( .01*2839.731/23.976*1000=1184 )

    Test 1
    Entered 1184 into Start Offset (ms) STILL SCREWED UP AUDIO

    Test 2
    Entered 1184 into End Offset (ms) STILL SCREWED UP AUDIO

    What am I doing wrong here?

    try "save segmented avi" (in the file menu) once you have your avi loaded.
    a little bit is better than nada.
    sometimes you want the whole enchilada.
