I've got an Archos Jukebox and it's being difficult. I just learned how to make movies with divx 5.1.1 and they work fine on my computer. BUT, when I go to play them on my jukebox, the sound is off by about a second. I've tried fiddling with all the checkboxes that seem relevant, but nothing helps the problem.

I've got an Archos Jukebox, too. It's great, ain't it? Does your audio/video become out of sync after playing it for a while, say 20 minutes or so, or is it not syncd from the beginning? Also, how do you get your movie ready? I can help you if you use virtualdub to compress, cus that's how I do it. I use virtualdubmod. -
Yea, I love the thing except for this. I've compressed the movie several ways trying to correct the problem, one of which was with VirtualDubmod (so it can use mp3). The video is out of sync from the beginning. It's either a second ahead or behind, I can't remember.Comment

try this...
Audio/video off from the beginning, eh? Try this: Click streams, stream list. Then right click on the audio stream then click on interleaving. Mess with those options, especially the skew option down below. This has corrected the problem for me before. For some reason I don't have this problem anymore, but when I did, this corrected it. Good luck!Comment
