What am I doing wrong with Nero 6?

    Hi.

I burned my first VCD yesterday and it WILL play in my DVD player...but only sort of.

The menu isn't cooperating. I'd assumed it would be interactive like a regular DVD menu, but none of my arrow controls highlight any of the menu selections. As long as the menu is up, none of the controls work except for "program".

Going into the program screen, I can set the three tracks on the disc to play, and play it will, but only then.

If I try to use the neat menu I designed...NOTHING.

The Nero setup had even asked me if I wanted to start with the menu or go right into the first chapter/track. I said "menu".

    Now I wish I hadn't.

Was this a wrong assumption on my part? Are Nero VCD menus NOT interactive, and there only to provide info on using your DVD machine's programming setup?

Nero is not good for burning VCD's with menu's, the best thing to do with your VCD is to bin it then burn another VCD without any sort of menu on it, when i use to make VCDs i never had menu's on mine they played fine, actually the last VCD i made was Terminator 3, made it with Nero after i converted it to an MPEG. The menu's on Nero are rubbish, don't have any menu's on VCDs, DVDs are better for making the menu's, they are interactive then unlike VCDs.
