    Newbie In need of good encoder

    I am new to dvd-ripping, obviously, use to rip lots of PS games. But slowly just quite. I am in need of a good/cheap(free is best) encoder to code divx/mpeg/avi to SVCD. Any thoughts?

    i love this

        Download and install the software (TMPGEnc). If you download one of the more recent versions (2.00 and higher), you'll discover that they include wizards/templates to help automate your efforts (and obviate your questions about increasing resolution, etc.). Or, you may choose to explore the extensive capabilities of the software for yourself - and discover the gratification of modifying various settings to enhance and improve your end product ;>}
