cant find gothika disk

Hi i fairly new here i figure ou somr thing on my own but i just rented gothika cleaned the disk up played it in my home dvd player and wanted to burn it . but dvd druve cant find the disk in drive but when i put Anne Frank The whole story in it found it and i could burn it .
WHY IS THAT???
