    hello,

i have a problem play dvd's from hard drive that where produced by "dvd decriptor". when i try to play using power dvd i get the message that the "format is not supported" and taht it fail to play the dvd.

i tried dvd decryptor with file mode and if mode but got the same result every time. i tried to play is in other player like "dvd x player" but no success.

is anyone can guess what seems to be the problem?

Are all the DVD related files in a folder called "VIDEO_TS"?

In DVD Decrypter's "File" mode you MUST select "ALL files", NOT "movie files"...

I did select "ALL files" in file mode but still, when i try to play it in "Power DVD" or "dvd x player" it say that "the format not supported". if i play just the VOB files directly from the "VIDEO_TS" folder it plays fine but when i try the option "play dvd from hard drive" it doesn't work.

Open Power DVD, CTRL + O and select Open DVD Files on HDD. Navigate to your ripped files. Double click on your Video_TS folder and select Video_TS.ifo.

It should play as if you are playing a normal DVD.

              hi,

I opened power dvd, typed CTRL + O but i don't see the option "Open DVD Files on HDD". the options are:
              f:
              g: (the cd drives)
              open dvd on hard disc
              open media files

when i choose the option "open dvd on hard disc" & navigate to VIDEO_TS folder i get the message that "the format is not supported".

i tried to drag the VIDEO_TS.ifo th power dvd but it did the same.

              thanks for the help,
              gVid

Try using WinDVD instead of PowerDVD...
