New here. Cutting a mov

i need to cut down a mov that i uploaded onto my computer with my digital cam..
Also, how would i go about changing the format of it, i uploaded it useing QuickTime player and i cant seem to get it to work in WMP..

About the only program I know to convert a .MOV to anything useful is EO (type those letters into google). You might want to try re-uploading the video to VirtualDub (freeware found here) as an AVI which you can manipulate (cut).
