    Divix\low motion\fast motion

I'm using DiviX 4.1 (VirtualDub) but I don't know how to setup for low motion or fast motion.

I'm converting Vhs tapes and the process I am using is from Diogo Figueiredo's guide on VHS tranferring (Guides Section). It said to use DiviX low motion.

Also, can anyone tell me, in general, which filter/filters I should be using for this? The capture, as well as the processing?

For your first question, the 4.x codec does not have such things called low-/fast-motion. It's only found in the 3.11a codec. But then again, if you're just beginning to learn how to encode videos, 4.x most probably will give you better results. Have a look here on how to use the codec:

For your second question, I have no experience on this, but I suppose you could use the usual cropping & resizing filters and perhaps smoothing.
