    Problem Burning with Nero

When I try and burn my converted AVI files in Nero, which i used TMPGEnc and TMPGEnc Author to complete, It starts, but then i get a message saying :

    "SCSI Command Aborted"

    Has anyone else experienced this?

And does anyone know what it means, and what i can do to correct it.

    Please help!

Is your burner's drawer OPEN? If so, close it...

Possible reasons for this error message appearing.
      1. Nero doesn't recognise your burner. This is unlikely to be the case as you would have mentioned having overall burning problems.
      2. ASPI related problems. Nero (I have 6 and have no problems using VisionExpress 2 with my TDK DVD+/-RW) doesn't come bundled with ASPI software so you should hunt it out using Google.
Suggest you pop along to the Microsoft site and check out their Knowledge Base (Article 172520)
      Cheers

Is the media compatable with the recorder?.... sorry I've got to ask.
Are you running any Roxio s/w that may conflict with Nero?
Are you running the latest firmware for your writer?
Are you running the latest Nero 6?

Thanks for the info, I've still not sorted the problem with Nero 6, but it only seems to happen on converted DVD files.

I've just managed to burn it using TMPGEnc Aurthor's Burning Tool, which I would have used in the first place, but i had problems using that last time. So I don't know what was causing the error message in nero, but I'm not having any problems burning disc to disc, so all I can think of is that it didn't recognise the files I was trying to burn?

Anyway I've got what I wanted, and it works on my stand alone player fine, so I'm happy.

I would use other software than nero to many problems.
