error in converting uncompressed wav

i'm trying to combine a silent avi with an uncompressed wav using nandub v1.Orc2. when i try to select DivX WMA audio v1 or v2, nothing happens. the status bar seems to run, but the audio isn't attached, like it's resaving it as a silent. i tried a few other compressors with the same result. I attached a snapshot.

(i tried using DivX WMA because it let me select 80 kbps / 44 kHz, which i think should make a 2 hr audio into 75 mb, my silent is 615 mb and i'm trying to keep it at around 700 mb).

1) Does the .WAV file play properly?

2) Are you selecting "WAV audio" from the "Audio" dropdown menu?

I tried it and it didn't work. Is it because i'm trying to convert from an uncompressed wav format to DivX WMA 1 or 2?
