Extracting MPEG-4 data from the ASF file

Since ASF (Advanced Systems Format) is just a container, is it possible to extract MPEG-4 data from the file somehow?

Do you know any software that would convert from .asf to .mp4 and keep MPEG-4 compression data intact ?

you should be able to extract the video from .asf to raw with videolan, ffmpeg or mplayer i assume

once you have the raw mpeg-4 stream you can mux it into .mp4 with mp4ui
