could not copy off CD to hard drive.
when run though Vdub this mess was displayed

What is Up with this program? guy I need you on this one.

1) How did you originally join the two files when you first created the VCD? (What software and procedures did you use?)

2) Does the VCD play properly from the CD, both on your PC and standalone player?

No the VCD can only be played on my TV DVD player. I tried to copy it to the hard drive make the file more computer friendly. The VCD was burned by a friend, and it is 4 folders on the CD. When I ran through Vdub I could only watch alittle over one hour of video. They are all .DAT files in the folders and won't run on anything but our regular DVD player? I'm Stumped...
just tell me what you need and i'll get the info to show you.

I appologize if my remarks have offended you, that was not my intention. I enjoyed the points you made in the other forum and have gotten nothing but good recomendations when I seek media remedies. Please know that my comments where not meant to offend but to welcome a different perspective. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
