Converting .AVIs with VBR-MP3 Audio for use with TMPGEnc

Using VirtualDubMOD to Convert "VBR" .MP3 to Uncompressed .WAV

    1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD (a different program than the standard VirtualDub)

    2) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Direct Stream Copy"

    3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List" - and rightclick on the audio stream, then select "Full Processing Mode" - then click on "OK"

    4) From the "File" dropdown menu, save .AVI with a new filename

***IMPORTANT You may have an additional problem, due to the fact that the audiostream appears to be more than 1 minute longer than the videostream

Did you follow setarip's method exactly?
When opening your file in VdubMod, do you get audio when running the player?

This is the first time you are mentioning BURNING A DVD!

On what are you planning to playback this MPEG-2 burned to a DVD? Do you have a standalone player that is capable of playing MPEG-2s?

If not, there are additional steps you'll have to take to create a proper DVD...
