I Can´t See The Subtitles!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please I need help with the subtitles for Micro DVD Player.
I download the subtitle file and the movie and I can only get the movie to be played. How can I run the subtitles also?
This may sound silly but I really do not know how to do it!!!!!
Please someone let me know!!!!!!

No arguing about which subtitler player to use, but since i don't understand all that talk about .ini etc either in Micro DVD and i like to keep it KISS ....................... i use BS-Player for watching with subtitles

Load the video file
Load the srt subtitle file
done

Nothing fancy, nothing difficult.

I know this is not an answer to your problem (for that i would advise you to read a faq page which undoubtly will be present at the homepage of Micro dvd), but maybe it is an alternative

If you use BS-player, you only have to give the subtitlefile the same name as the movie and place it in the same folder and when you start the movie it will automatic load the subtitlefile.
AND BSplayer support as far as i know most of the subtitlesformat.
