No Audio for Ac3 despite of all my tryings

I have the problems with Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone.CD1.DVL.SoLo.ShareReactor.

Can't hear audio. I have SBLive soundcard and win98se.
I tried all suggested solutions to this problem.
First, I install only audio codec from nimo pack + ac3. Doesn't work. When I installed full Nimo pack - no results. Then uninstall it.

    2. Tried audiofilters. And graph edit. No effect.

    3. Now install Tsunami pack and no effect again.

When I try open this file with bsplayer or divx power next gen or WM 6.4, progs simply shuts down, without any error window.
    Just shuts down.

I see, that for many people audiofilters or Nimo does real help. But not for me.
Now, I event have no ideas about what that must be.

So, please help me with any other ideas.

    P.S
In virtual dub file information says:
    48000 Hz
    5 stereo channels
    compression unknown(tag 2000)
    # of frames 231304

    I am certain its Ac3

Have a look at UncasMS' site. He has a god collection of software, one of them the ac3 codec needed for playback of ac3 stream in DIvX movies. I can't remember what the address it though, but if you look around the forum, you'll find the address easily. He more often than not points people in need of codec to his site.

        that's right

I had the problem and use the filters given in the precedent post. It works well but sometimes, I need to reactivate them. It's strange but working...
