    Frustrating copy problem

    Hi all,

Having a problem with copying a disk.

I had some avi files on my system that I put onto playable dvd using NeroVisioion Express 2.

Initially the whole process worked fine and the resulting dvd was perfect. I have since tried to do the same thing again - exactly the same - but the dubbing was out of sync (have posted about this previously).

I cant fix this problem - it shouldnt do it based on the fact that the original version i did was great.

ANYWAY......... I am now trying to copy the original one i did - again there should be no loss of quality but so far i have wasted 5 blank dvds doing this. At 27 mins through the 'film' it gets all pixilated and basically stops working. IT DOES IT WITH EVERY BURN???

I have even had to result to running the dvd through dvd shrink before burning it because Nero refuses to do a straight 'copy'. i get an error message 'nero cannot copy this file to a dvd disk'???

Its not a copyrighted film or anything like that so i dont understand at all.

why if the oiginal is good quality can i not do a straight copy?? I have never experienced this before with backing up ar anything?!

    Frustrated! K

go to C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero and look for a file named "NeroHistory.log" Open that file up and copy it, then paste it here. Don't forget to remove your serial # from the post.
