    Divx codecs

    Hi Everyone,
I'm a complete novice to this Divx lark and was wondering if you can help me?
I have a video cd disc with Divx AVI codecs from DVD and cannot get audio out of it. I have downloaded the Alpha 2 player from Divx.com and I can now see the movie, but no audio.
Haven't a clue what audio codec I need....can anyone help me?

    Thanks very much,

Most likely MPEG Layer 3 (MP3) audio. Download and install the Radium MP3 codec...

Two ways to discover information about which audio codec was used:

          1) Load the file into VirtualDub. From under the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

          or

          2) From within Explorer, right click on the filename. Select "Properties". Click on the detail tab.

The VirtualDub method will provide more information.

Whichever method you choose, post the information here.
