Does anyone have the Gateway 702GE computer?

It has this double layer burning 8.5 GB max capacity and I am trying to make a copy of a dvd ( the terminal) and for the life of me I cannot figure it out, if someone could run me through it I would greatly appreciate it.... also, I guess I need a dvd+R DL blank dvd to do this, right?

To burn a Dual Layer disc, yes you need a blank DVD+R DL disc.
