    There are several problems I noticed from that log.........

    "=== Scsi-Device-Map ===
    DiskPeripheral : TOSHIBA MK2018GAP atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: On
    CdRomPeripheral : TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-R2102 atapi Port 1 ID 0 DMA: Off"
    1st thing I noticed was, there is no DVD burner listed there. And "DMA" is turned off for your DVD-ROM drive. While it will still work DMA being off, it will just be alot slower.

    Your using DVD-R, there is no need to use "Booktype" setting for DVD-R disc.

    The burner doesn't like the blank media you are using. Try a different brand, such as Ritek Ridata or Verbatim.

        Most likely, the problem is the "Booktype". If you are using DVD-R, there is no need to use a "Booktype". Booktype is used for DVD+R.

          Is your GSA-5160D running on USB? Moreover, is it USB 2 ?

          Also: 10:19:04 PM #7 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3286
          First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000)

          First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000)

          I think this signifies you weren't in DVD video mode.
