Digital Video Camera Not Capturing

Hello all, does anyone know how I capture video into my computer? I've done it using a capture card on my main computer but I can't seem to get video to capture to my laptop. I'm thinking I need to download some drivers but I can't find the drivers for anything that I'm using.

Camera Used: Panasonic PV-GS70D
Connection: USB
Computer Used: HP Pavilion ZD7000 laptop

what exactly have you tried to do so far? what were the results?

try going to the panasonic website and looking for drivers for that model.

the best program to capture video, in my opinion, is 'windv'. get it from http://www.afterdawn.com

So far i've just tried tweaking some settings in Premiere to get the program to recognize my camera but it looks like my camera needs drivers installed before it can do anything. At this point I'm looking for drivers.

I went to the website you suggested (http://www.afterdawn.com/) and did a search for: Windv but I couldn't find anything. Would you happen to have a direct link?? Thanks

What capture card/device are you using?
How have you got the cam hooked to the computer?
Didn't the cam come with some software?
What software have you tried?
Are you using firewire, composite, S-Video, or?

The camera didn't come with any software.
