error parsing ifo's

Hello!

I ripped dvd with smart ripper to harddrive and tried to convert the movie with flaskmpeg to avi. When I open DVD from file\open dvd menu and select the IFO file and make my selections on track and audio and subtitles I get "error parsing IFO file". This happens with atleas two different movies. I tried to rip the files again from the DVD but it didn't help. When I convert a single VOB everything works nice!. I'm lost. Please Helpppp!

Is that Flask0.6? If so, have you installed the patch (Thunder.mism) that will enable it to parse .ifo files?

OK! But I'm using 0.594 at the moment. Maybe I have to try 0.6

0.594 natively supports ifo parsing and that's the version I would rather use. Try reinstalling Flask instead. Maybe your version os somehow corrupted?

When you use ifo-parsing in flask, you must rip the entire DVD, instead of just the primary movie stream, to do this in smartripper you must use backup mode instead of movie mode.

I've been using Win2K ever since it was released and have never gone back to anything older, or even WinXP. Yes. Flask and most other softwares work with Win2K....without a glitch apparently.
