im trying to copy an original movie dvd...as i try to start...the css thingy pops up...is your downloaded dvd x platinum working? can u send me email.."HOW TO" for this software? thank you!!!

alfredwar-I'm not setarip, but I think you'll find that platinum must have the css removed BEFORE it can do it's thing. Download and use DVDDecrypter (free) to remove the css then proceed with platinum, but you would do well to review the advice of others and also download DVDShrink (also free) to replace platinum as platinum is no longer supported and is buggy at best. Platinum really is not the ideal product for this, and yes I have platinum and gave it up for a much easier to use system.
