          "Power calibration error"

          This indicates that your SONY DRU-530A burner is having a physical problem dealing with your burnable media. You might try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on it. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US.

          "Media Specific [16..63]:
          00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
          00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
          00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................"

          Your burner does not recognize the MXL RG - 03 media. This MAY be resolved by updating your burner's firmware, as suggested by "Mig$y".

          You might prefer to download and install the version 2.1g firmware update from the official SONY site at:

          Scroll down toward the bottom of the page, until you see "Firmware Upgrade 2.1G". First, click on "Instructions" and print them out. Then click on "Download"

          Let us know of your success ;>}

            The 2.1G firmware at the Firmware page also re-directs and downloads from the Sony site

                "Nero API version: 6.3.1.18"
                I would also upgrade your current version of Nero. That version was full of bugs. Download "Package 1" - http://www.nero.com/us/nero-up.php

                  Have you followed the instructions to INSTALL the firmware upgrade and then rebooted your system?

                  If so, try burning a DVD...
