I created dvd of friends wedding, everyone happy, now bride wants additional footage added. Can I rip my dvd to harddrive and re-edit files with Pinnacle Studio to insert new footage. Can anyone solve for me.
Thanks
You can rip the dvd to your hard drive. use Tmpgenc dvd author to open the ripped dvd. Then add your extra footage via "add new track" if you only want to add footage to the allready authored dvd. Create new menus chapters etc.
Yes, you can rip the dvd to your hard drive.
Start with something like ReJig in file mode, to connect the .vob's into one large movie.
It will output two files, one audio, and one video.
Pinnacle will import these, and allow you to add footage wherever you like on the timeline.
You can then recreate the menus and generate the dvd.
Thank you both for your replies, in the meantime i found you can import dvd files directly to Pinnacle from File menu. I am going to explore bot options you suggested also.
again Many Thanks
