    DVD collection backup

All, I'm the newest of the newbees! My question is this: I'm using Schrink to copy my DVD collection (.iso) to my hard drive and then REXIO to copy it from my hard drive to a DVD+R. When I try to play it back on a DVD player in my TV I have freez frames and finaly the whole movie freezes up so I cant do anything except turn it off. I'm looking for free ware that will allow me to copy my DVDs and be able to play them back on ANY standard DVD player. Any help???
    Thanks
    Jerry

you likely wont find a media that will play on EVERY player under the sun.
you might have better luck finding a 3-legg-ed ballerina!

go here to find COMPATIBLE media for your player(s).not all players can support all types of media.

As columbo999 stated, media could be a toughy. Stick to quality media, burn as dvd-rom if you can and if your burning fast try 4x or even slower on the media and see if it works better. Also do a scan of one of the burned dvd's to check the quality of the burn and dvd. The burn could have been reported as successful but been of a bad quality.

Thanks for the advice. Not being a techie I'll work through the links at lightning speed and probably get lost. I appreciate your help.
