Hi,
Recently, I've been getting a problem with videos playing back corrupted on my computer. The videos sort of become 'colorized' (contrast going through the roof). I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling my codecs, without any effect. There are a few interesting points.
1. It occurs regardless of the player I'm using, I've tried Windows Media Player 9, Windows Media Player Classic, Kazaa Theatre, Shareaza Theatre and Realplayer, the corruption remains.
2. Peculiarly enough, if I begin to play one video file, then open up the same, or another video file in another player program, the 2nd file plays normally, without this corruption problem.
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? If this question has been answered before, could someone link me to the solution please?
