    Problem joining MPEG-2 Videos

    Hi guys,

I have major problem joining MPEG (.mpg) videos. I used DV tools for joiining two 700 MB files and in the end I get 1.4 GB file but when I play on BS player it plays only the first part of the movie the second part isnt there. Any help?

Assuming that both mpeg files are encoded identically, and that the 2nd mpeg file that your having problems with actually plays OK by itself...

Here's a quick and dirty way to combine two mpeg files. Open a command shell in Windows. Start, Run, Cmd.

              At the Command prompt:

(get yourself into the directory where your mpeg's reside)

              cd \my_mpeg_files

(use the copy command with the binary switch to join them)

              copy /b first.mpg + second.mpg new.mpg

              (close out the command window)

              exit

                Hi!

                TMPGEnc
                File
                MPEG Tools
                Merge & Cut
                Load first file
                Add second file
                Save with a new filename
