    Introduction

    Just figured I would introduce myself since I just made two posts and people might be wondering where I came from. A friend pointed me to this site about a question I had. I've been making backups and reauthoring for about 2 and half years now so I'm not new to the DVD backup game but I have learned quite a bit about it from this site. Especially about bitsetting. I wish I would've known about that a long time ago. Anyway, I'm burning on a custom built computer that I designed and built which consists of:

    Aopen AX4SG-UN Motherboard
    Pentium 4 3.0Ghz Extreme processor
    Plextor PX-716A Burner
    1Gb matched Kingston RAM
    80GB HDD
    160GB HDD
    180GB HDD

    So anyway, to keep a long story short, just wanted to say "Hello".

        how much HD space do you have jmet? i have 200 GB myself and i find it not enough anymore, especially if you make back-ups and leave the files there for another time....

                @gotspeed13 - welcome -

                I have 4 HDD
                2 -160GB Maxtor (non SATA their IDE) on a SATA card and a 60 and 30 gb on 1 IDE channel and 2 combo burners on the other. I'm running outta room. I'm waiting for the SATA drives to come down a lil and may get a 1 or 2 of them. I'll probably hafta get a bigger PS. I'm kinda scared to put all my eggs in 1 basket with a real big HDD though.

                  All of mine are IDE also. I'm waiting for SATA drives to come down in price to. Then I plan on getting two 200GB SATA drives and keeping the two larger IDE drives.
