    DVD video extraction

A friend made a DVD of instructional videos I use at my office. Some of the material is no longer pertinent ... is there a way to extract video from a DVD edit out material and then reauthor it. These DVDs do not have any copy protection if that matters.

use dvdshrink. open dvdshrink>click re-author>click set start/end frames. cut the part/s then it back up to your hard drive. I check for verification before I burn the end product
