problem with the tv-out connection

I have connected the tv-out with my tv using a s-vhs to a scart cable. I downloaded the Detonator 28.32 as someone sugested that to me but when i try to select the tv option to the select out put device menu it is not possible to do it. Can someone please help me? I am really frastrated. Thank you.
