DVD List

What programs are being used by members to keep an alphabetized and easily updatable list of DVDs? Tried data base from MS Works and am not happy with results. Can be shareware or freeware. Would like to try before buy.

I've been using Ant Movie Catalog, it's FREEWARE and quite good. It took me a while to customize it to my liking, for printouts and whatnot. But I'd definately recommend it www.antp.be/software/moviecatalog/

DVD Catalog

I use a very personalized version of MS excel. I have my list, my Cd's all along with this downloadable Dvd Database in the same file. I find it very convienent and it's updated weekly:

DVD Profiler

I use DVD Profiler. Very intuitive and user-friendly program. They have a free version which limits the DVD cover art to low-res scans. By purchasing the program for $20 you'll be able to see your DVD cover art in high-res. Nothing else is limited with the free version.

I've found it a lot of fun so far. I'm almost @ 300 films. The program gives you the ability to enter film title by title, UPC code, and by Disc ID (put the actual DVD in the your drive and it'll read it and add it to your collection.

You also have the ability to keep track of what you've loaned out, a very helpful tool.

Again, thanks for the quick replies. DVD Profiler appears to meet all my needs plus. Also very easy to learn and work with. I'd definitely recommend it!
