hey guys, linux newbie sorta, and dicx/xvid linux newbie all the way.
what i have is a dual opteron server running fedora core 4 64bit. no winx, what i;ve been looking for (going on hours now) is a non gui divx/xvid encoder, since im sure it can be done much faster with 2 opteron 248's than a single 3700+. so what i;ve been asking, is first off is there an non gui encoder? second is there a multi threading encoder? is there a 64bit? and finally, what are the odds of getting a 64bit multi threading, non gui encoder ? you guys can jsut tell em to shove it if this isnt gonna happen.
i've found out that i can get a mulit threading 64 bit encoder, oly tis gui only. my server has no win(x) installed so what are my text only options?
