After using shrink and I play back the copied version and the quality sucks. It skips and jumps and pixalates, stops and starts. Does anyone have any idea why this happens? My DVD burner is only 1 year old I don't understand why. What can I do to fix the problem. Plus What kind/best DVD should I use too burn with.
Help!! DVD is in poor condition

What is the compression ratio you used? Golden rules of buring link in my sig. Also see "Got Bad Playback" in my sig.
Best media is Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Verbatim - reading Media Quality (yup, in my sig!) will help.
You might like to post your burning log. But if you got crappy media like CMC, that will be the first source of the problem.

What burner and firmware do you have? It's only a year hold but how much use has it had, reading and burning? Some media work better in different burners and players. Is the media supported in the burner firmware table? Not registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums
